Project büroUNIversum
7 phases to büroUNIversum
The implementation of the büroUNIversum within an organizational unit or institute takes place in seven steps. It starts with the formulation of the assignment and ends with the closing event – in between lies an intensive process that develops over months. Individual and structural needs, working methods, and processes are analyzed and transformed into new furnishing concepts. The flexible working environment is new to many people, which is why managers and teams are supported through this change.

Digitization as a prerequisite for new projects
Flexible working models in the büroUNIversum require consistent digitalization. Institutes, organizational units, or departments that register for implementation should therefore already be on the path to digitalization.
Status büroUNIversum
The pre-project for büroUNIversum was completed in the H6 administration building (EG, east). This pilot project provided the project team with important insights for future projects. A model project process has been defined for rolling out the project across the entire University of Bern, and legal clarifications are currently underway for surveys and utilization measurements via sensors.
The GIUB project is in the initialization phase, the IT services are in the basic evaluation phase, and the next step is to start the overall assessment of H6. In addition, a new information page is in the works and explanatory videos are being created.
