Good leadership aims to empower employees so that they can successfully complete their tasks and cope with change.
Our goals
Our goals:
- In 20 years, the University of Bern will continue to be known for its excellent leadership culture and will handle change professionally.
- Its organizational structure, professional selection of leaders, and training and continuing education programs will enable “good leadership” at all levels. Through “good leadership,” the University will gain a competitive advantage in achieving its goals and attract talent.
- Role conflicts in the supervision of doctoral students are resolved, and attractive conditions are created for both doctoral students and their advisors.
- Leadership at the University of Bern is carried out collaboratively through peer coaching, mutual support, and leadership support roles. Together with standardized leadership tools, this creates the best possible conditions for rotating positions and temporary leadership responsibilities.
