Clearly defined and diversified research priorities shape the international reputation and appeal of the University of Bern. To achieve this, UniBE continues as a comprehensive university. The need for interdisciplinary research is growing, especially in the context of complex scientific issues such as climate change or diseases. This is where the University of Bern can play to its strengths in the national and international research environment.
Through lean administrative processes, the University will create more time for research and increases its attractiveness as an employer. A centralized database allows members of the University to access research priorities as well as the international networks within the University of Bern.
