About the project
The "Fit for Future" project addresses the challenges that the University of Bern will face in the future.
At its core, the "Fit for Future" project addresses the following question:
What are the consequences of changing conditions for working at the University of Bern, and what do we need to do today to ensure that we will still be attractive and competitive in 10-20 years?
In order to find answers to this question, employees of the university from all faculties and the central division, together with external partners from politics, business and science, went on a three-day retreat in June 2022. The results of this retreat gave rise to the twelve fields of action that are now being worked on by project teams.
